Bryant Jennings has offered his services as a replacement opponent for Anthony Joshua, who should soon learn the WBA ruling on a planned fight with Wladimir Klitschko.

The IBF champion has been forced to wait over the weekend for news on his proposed title defence against Klitschko, but the WBA are expected to announce a decision today on whether their vacant belt will be at stake.

Klitschko is expected to seek an alternative bout if he cannot reclaim his old title against Joshua, with reports suggesting the Ukrainian has put plans in place for a fight against Lucas Browne in Hamburg.

And Jennings, who was beaten on points by Klitschko last year, admits he could be willing to challenge the IBF champion on his scheduled date of December 10 at Manchester Arena.

Upon whatever circumstances we fall upon, December 10? That's possible. I'm going to say that's possible.

"I will fight Anthony Joshua sometime in the future period," Jennings exclusively told Sky Sports.

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has previously suggested that a number of heavyweights could feature on the card and Jennings is eager to make his UK debut, even if it's not against Joshua.

The Philadelphia fighter said: "I've been interested in that since 2012-2013. I've never had the opportunity to do so.

"I understand they have a great fan base over there - a lot of loyal, dedicated boxing fans - and I just think I have a whole lot more to offer. I think I can be appreciated a whole lot more from an overseas fan point of view, rather than America.

"In America, pretty much they have got their eyes set on who they want to push and things like that.

"Any activity would interest me. Top guys like to fight top guys. Of course that's of interest."

With the WBA set to give their verdict, Browne revealed on social media that he expects to learn the news in the next few hours.

He tweeted: "Today's the day apparently. Waiting on @WBABoxing about what fight is what with myself and @Klitschko and @anthonyfjoshua title either way."
