It's great that Katie Taylor is getting a lot of coverage. She has been a fantastic ambassador for women's boxing over the last 10 years and is very popular, especially in Ireland. It is going to take someone like her, with a personality people can relate to, to lead the way for other female boxers.
Some people will obviously take a while to be converted and to be comfortable with women's boxing. I certainly wasn't comfortable with it for a while, but the more I've watched it over the years, the more I've learnt to appreciate and enjoy it.
Taylor is a phenomenal athlete and a great boxer and I'm really looking forward to seeing her fight. I'm sure everyone will get behind her and appreciate how talented she is.
I think Ohara has looked brilliant and I've been really impressed by his progress. He is a handful for anyone at the level he has been fighting at, but this is a step up for him and it's the ideal fight. It's a bold move by Davies and his team, Scarpa is no mug and is a big, tall and awkward opponent who of course beat John Wayne Hibbert last time out.
Hibbert has had a lot of tough fights lately so Scarpa maybe got to him at just the right time, but you can't take anything away from him or the manner of his victory.
I would like to see him fight for the British belt down the line, every fighter should try and do so - It gives you good grounding and great experience.
This is a tough, tough fight for Davies and I do believe that he has all the attributes to make it very far in boxing, how far? We don't quite know yet until he has come through a few of these tough tests.

Jake Ball is a kid that I like a lot, I really rate him and pick him to stand out this weekend. Of course I like to see all the kids come through and enjoy watching them develop, especially if they have a setback or a bad performance. I'm interested in how they respond and come back, that's when you know if they have the right attitude.
These fights can be make or break but it's another chance for Ball to develop, move on and be a success in the future. He trains with Jim McDonnell and has James DeGale in the gym which is the perfect set up. Being in the gym with a world champ brings you on and you pick up things from them and add it to your arsenal. I know from being in the gym around fighters like Ricky Hatton, Michael Brodie, Carl Thompson and Stephen Foster - it's a massive plus.
Lomachenko is a fantastic fighter and I wouldn't pick anyone to beat him at the moment, but Walters has a real puncher's chance. He punches so hard and his impressive win over Nonito Donaire stands out - no one was expecting that.
Lomachenko's skillset however is fantastic and no one can outbox him. He doesn't have much experience as a pro and jumped straight in at the deep end, but he is already one of the best in the world. For me, If he puts in a dominating performance over Walters this weekend then he is definitely in the top three or four of the pound-for-pound list.
The second fight between Carl Froch and George Groves stands out. I went down to Wembley for the week and being around the atmosphere for the whole build-up was amazing. The apprehension for that fight, I've never seen anything like it - it was a massive occasion. The fight didn't let us down either and it was a fitting ending to the whole event.
I've seen Man United play there and watched as they won the FA Cup via a last gasp winner last year, but boxing has to go top of my list and the fight will live long in my memory.
