Ohara Davies continued his prominent rise through the ranks as he dominated Andrea Scarpa to win the WBC Silver super-lightweight title.

'Two Tanks' stalked his Italian opponent from the off and landed some lengthy, powerful blows throughout as he marched to a unanimous points victory.

Scarpa made it an awkward and testing night for the unbeaten Hackney star, but eventually three scores of 120-108 secured the win.

Davies (14-0) started the fight quickly and came out firing, landing two looping hooks to set the tone for the rest of the contest.

The 24-year-old took no time in finding his rhythm behind a swift left jab and Scarpa seemed happy to almost enter survival mode and look to come through the contest unscathed.

Davies maintained control and loaded up on his punishing right hand as the fight reached the middle rounds, but despite the dominance, there was a feeling that 'Two Tanks' could perhaps find another gear.
