Anthony Joshua has vowed to make Eric Molina look like a "novice" when he defends his IBF heavyweight title in Manchester.
The IBF champion sparked an angry reply from Molina when he promised to outclass his challenger in Saturday's world title fight, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Asked for a final pre-fight message, Joshua said: "I'll make Eric look like a novice."
A fired-up Molina swiftly hit back at the unbeaten 27-year-old, suggesting he will ruthlessly expose any mistakes at Manchester Arena.
"You have to do that," said the American. "If you slip-up one second you'll be dancing and the world will be talking."
Joshua can pave the way for a planned world title unification clash with Wladimir Klitschko next April and is hoping to produce his 18th straight knockout win.
He said: "It's not so much about who I'm fighting it's about myself. I'm not worried about how Eric's camp has gone, because of course he has to train. He has to to train.
"Every fighter has to train, so I'm not really worried about what they are doing. I'm just glad he's healthy. God willing I go out there to do my job, Eric has trained to the best capability, and I've managed to crush him."
But Molina insists all of Britain 'will be surprised' and revealed how he has taken inspiration from Oliver McCall, who pulled off a shock upset win over Lennox Lewis in 1994.
"Oliver McCall my long-term mentor, he meant so much to my career, showing me things," said Molina.
"I always envision myself having that moment that he had here in England. He had that big win and it just shows the world that in this heavyweight division anything is possible."
