Anthony Joshua has to be "careful" on Saturday because he has "everything to lose" against Eric Molina, says Eddie Hearn.

A proposed world title unification fight with Wladimir Klitschko is expected to take place next April, but Hearn accepts that Molina could derail Joshua's career this weekend.

"Everyone talking about what lies ahead, I think this is the toughest fight of Anthony Joshua's career so far," said Hearn.

Joshua has got everything to lose in this fight and Molina has nothing to lose.
Eddie Hearn

"The thing is with Molina, he doesn't really care. He's got nothing to lose, he's not protecting an unbeaten record, he's not come in from the Olympic set-up. He's just got a chance to become heavyweight world champion and he clearly states - 'we're going to find that one shot to knock him out.'

"That's what they are working on, so you know he's going to throw leather, you know he's not going to be afraid to let his hands go.

"Joshua sometimes attacks without regard, so he's got to be careful, got to be smart. He's got to break him down. Joshua has got everything to lose in this fight and Molina has nothing to lose."

Anthony Joshua has vowed to feed Eric Molina 'to the lions' on Saturday night

Joshua's usual calm demeanour slipped during the final news conference as he sparked a heated exchange by vowing to make Molina look a "novice".

The angry words between both fighters were mild in comparison to the ugly scenes at the Dereck Chisora-Dillian Whyte news conference, but Hearn believes Joshua lost his cool.

Eric Molina says he's ready to exploit any mistakes from Joshua

"Molina spoke really, really well and got a small bite from Anthony Joshua, which is good because he likes to keep his calm," said Hearn.

"He's been phoning me, talking about all the other press conferences this week, and how he's been watching them all. He tends to work in the background, but he just had to bite his tongue a little bit there.

"We could see with the edge from Joshua, he's ready for business on Saturday night. It's going be a tough fight."
