Jamie Moore wants to see Vasyl Lomachenko v Guillermo Rigondeaux and Kell Brook v Amir Khan in 2017

Jamie Moore

We have seen some blockbusters in 2016 but we have asked our experts to pick out their three dream fights for the new year.

Jamie Moore is one of the few that has already seen one of his dreams come true but from a purist and perfectionists angle, his other two are perfect match-ups...

Vasyl Lomachenko v Guillermo Rigondeaux

I would love to see these two fight just because they are both so much better than the competition around them in their weight division. Yes Lomachenko is - at the moment - up at featherweight but it wasn't that long ago he was at super-bantamweight. I also think Rigondeaux is big for that weight, so why not?

Guillermo Rigondeaux

He has asked to fight him at 9st 2lbs so it could well happen. It is a such a great fight, especially for the purists. I am not sure how exciting it would be but from the simple skills they both bring into the ring, it would love them to see them pit their skills against each other.

Lomachenko's approach is to attack, Rigondeaux probably has the best defence around and they both fight at a tempo, so it could well be a brilliant spectacle.

Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko

Have a look back at some of Wladimir Klitschko's finest work in the ring

Well, I've been dreaming this for the last year, so this at least will come true. I would say that it might have come a little earlier than I'd imagined for Joshua, with next summer or going into the autumn, the ideal scenario. But all the questions will be answered on April 29.

Anthony Joshua believes his fight against Wladimir Klitschko is the step up in quality boxing fans wanted from him.

The more I think about it, the timing is probably worse for Klitschko. He would've wanted Tyson Fury a few months ago, so maybe now it swings in Joshua's favour.

I wouldn't say Wladimir is finished but if they had sat there biding their time, waiting for it to happen further down the line, it might not have happened. It is a bold move from Joshua and for Eddie Hearn, but they have grabbed the iron while it's red hot.

Kell Brook v Amir Khan

Amir Khan

It's the one we've all been wanting for a few years and if it doesn't happen this year, then I don't think it will ever happen - and that would be a crying shame. It reminds me of Ricky Hatton-Junior Witter, because they missed the boat and Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao because that should've taken place four of five years before that.

Kell Brook

The timing for these two is perfect. They're both coming off losses against top 10 pound-for-pounders at weights that didn't suit them and the last thing we want to see is Brook or Khan take any more damage like that.

They've both got big fanbases, we all follow them going at each other on Twitter, and it would be all about bragging rights. But we all want to see it.
