Manny Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum has admitted there is a 'good possibility' of the Filipino star facing unbeaten Australian Jeff Horn in his next fight.
Top Rank boss Arum is considering options for Pacquiao and intends to put back a possible super fight with Terence Crawford, who holds the WBC and WBO titles at super-lightweight.
Horn is the No 2 contender for Pacquiao's WBO welterweight belt and the Brisbane man could receive a title shot on his home soil, with Pacquiao's 67th bout expected to take place outside the United States.
"There'll be no Pacquiao-Crawford fight in the first six months of the year definitely," Arum told The Manila Times.
"Only if the fight will be in the United States, but we're not planning the next fight in the United States, so we're also not planning on Crawford now.
"Now that the New Year is over, I'm going to finalise a location, because we're looking out for an opponent depending on the locations like in Australia, England, Middle East or maybe even in Mexico.
"That's what I want to do with the last period of Manny's career. I want him to be known as a worldwide fighter.
"Jeff Horn is a good possibility. I will be flying soon to the Philippines once I finalised every detail."
