But Campbell has already been forced to rebuild after his sole points defeat to Yvan Mendy and is treating Lopez with respect.

"Lopez is a tough, strong Mexican who can punch, can box and fight," he told Sky Sports.

Everything depends on my performance and the plan is this year to hopefully fight for a world title.

At the top of the bill, Gavin McDonnell battles Rey Vargas for the vacant WBC super-bantamweight title, and Campbell is fully aware of the threat posed by the Mexican after defeating him in the amateur ranks.

"I am excited to see McDonnell in that fight," he said.

"I haven't seen Vargas as a professional, but I remember him being very good as an amateur. He was tall, quick and strong and he gave me a tough fight.
