Frank Buglioni in race against time to be fit to face Ricky Summers after getting injured in sparring

Frank Buglioni is in a race against time to be fit to defend his British light-heavyweight title on the undercard of David Haye vs Tony Bellew after sustaining an injury during sparring.
On the day it was announced the 'Wise Guy' has joined Matchroom, his fight against Ricky Summers on Saturday, March 4, live on Sky Sports Box Office, was thrown into doubt.
It is an untimely setback for Buglioni (19-2-1-KO15) but he has vowed to do everything he can to get back into the ring as soon as possible.
He tweeted: "Very bittersweet day for me! Delighted to be joining @EddieHearn and @MatchroomBoxing but devastatingly suffered an injury in sparring today.
"I am en route to have the best and fastest treatment possible and will have more news soon. I apologise to all parties."
Buglioni is scheduled to defend the British title he won from Hosea Burton in Manchester in December.
Buglioni's defence against Summers is part of a busy bill before Haye vs Bellew, with Ohara Davies defending his WBC Silver super-lightweight title against Merseyside favourite Derry Mathews and Sam Eggington facing the biggest night of his career against former two-weight world champion Paulie Malignaggi.
Katie Taylor will be making her debut at The O2 in her third fight since turning professional, with more names added to the bumper bill.
