Culcay vs Andrade: Gamal Yafai will return to the ring ahead of brother Kal's world-title defence

Gamal Yafai wants to end is injury "nightmare" and secure a spot on brother Kal's world title homecoming in May.
The younger of the two takes on Georgia's Khvicha Gigolashvili in Germany on Saturday night on the undercard of Jack Culcay-Demetrius Andrade, live on Sky Sports.
Gamal has not boxed for nine months after sustating an ankle ligament injury a week before he was due to defend his Commonwealth super-bantamweight title in October.
The 25-year-old has vacated the domestic belt but as he takes Gigolashvili, also has one eye on ensuring he is ready to box on older brother Kal's first WBA world super-flyweight title defence on home soil in May.
"I am not at the same stage as Kal yet but I have only been a professional for two-and-a-half years and the injuries have got in my way," he told Sky Sports.
"I can't wait to get out there. I've been out for too long and just hadn't had any luck. It's been a nightmare, but hopefully it will end on Saturday night.
"I just want get this fight over and done with, then look forward to being on my brother's first world title defence, in Birmingham.
"I haven't exactly been told but it will happen, boxing on the same card as my brother's world title homecoming. The Birmingham shows are big, so I have got to be on it."
Gamal admits he is more interesting in rounds in the scheduled six-rounder against Gigolashvili in Mannheim, in west Germany.
He will be flying out on Thursday morning after watching his younger brother Galal in Britiah Lionhearts' bout with Morocco Atlas Lions at York Hall on Wednesday night and although he is although he is making his professional debut on foreign soil, the super-bantamweight is far from concerned.
"Kal is coming out with me and a few of my mates are going out there as well, so I am looking forward to it," he said.
"I've boxed loads in Germany as an amateur, on the Great Britain Squad, so it's not a problem. It is my first fight out of Britain as a professional, but it's a good learning curve."
"If the stoppage is there, it's there and I will always look for it, but I need rounds. I need to get back out there and not just go looking for the one-round KO, but it's not my priority."
Watch Yafai vs Gigolashvili on the Culcay vs Andrade world title fight, live on Sky Sports 2, Saturday from 9.00pm, with Jamie Moore and Darren Barker part of the commentary team.
