Linares vs Crolla: Jorge Linares has promised to take KO chance and beat Anthony Crolla again

WBA lightweight champion Jorge Linares says he will look for knockout opportunities against Anthony Crolla in Manchester on Saturday evening.

Jorge Linares has warned Anthony Crolla he is ready to finish the rematch early with an emphatic knockout.

The three-weight world champion won their first fight in September, leaving Manchester with the WBA and Ring Magazine lightweight titles.

Linares had Crolla in trouble in the sixth but had to settle for a unanimous decision and while 'Million Dollar' has welcomed the idea, the Venezuelan has vowed to end Saturday's fight early.

"If the knockout comes this time - if it's right there like it was last time - I am going to get it," he told Sky Sports News HQ, via a translator.

"This time there have been no issues with my hand, there have been no issues. "

"I am not coming back after a long break, I am coming better than ever. My legs, my mentality, my physical conditioning, everything is on par."

Their first fight in the Manchester Arena saw Crolla become the first fighter to take Linares the full 12 championship rounds and the future Hall of Famer's three professional defeats have come inside the distance.
