Mike Tyson believes Anthony Joshua's reign as heavyweight champion is good news for boxing

Mike Tyson says Anthony Joshua's victory over Wladimir Klitschko has "changed boxing" as he believes the British heavyweight will boost the sport's profile.

Joshua's thrilling stoppage victory over Klitschko attracted a crowd of 90,000 to Wembley, along with a huge worldwide televised audience, and former world champion Tyson feels boxing is mainstream news once again after a memorable heavyweight fight.

The American attracted headlines and massive viewing figures during his destructive reign and has acknowledged the importance of another big-hitting champion such as Joshua in the glamour division.

"If he continues to be that way, his sky is the limit for him," said Tyson. "Just that one fight changed boxing, that one fight, and that's what fighting needs.
