Kal Yafai is predicting a destructive victory when he defends his WBA super-flyweight title against Suguru Muranaka.
WBA champion Yafai is eager to impress his hometown fans as he makes the first defence of his belt against Muranaka at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham this Saturday night, live on Sky Sports.
The unbeaten 27-year-old weighed in at 8st 2lbs 6oz, with Muranaka also making the limit at 8st 2lbs 3oz, and Yafai vowed to inflict a stoppage loss on his Japanese challenger.
"I'm ready to go on now and show other things in my arsenal and show that I'm the real deal," Yafai told Sky Sports.
"He's going to have to bring something very special to the table to beat me tomorrow night. He's very aggressive, will look to put me under a lot of pressure.
"But my job will be just to break him down, take each round by round. I've got a feeling tomorrow night I'll do some damage."
On an exciting undercard, Sam Eggington will challenge Ceferino Rodriguez for the European welterweight title.
The Stourbridge man holds an obvious size advantage as he tipped the scales at 10st 6lb 8oz, while Rodriguez came in at 10st 5lbs 9oz.
Rio Olympian Josh Kelly will have his second professional fight on the packed bill, which also features Gamal Yafai against Sean Davis, and Frankie Gavin takes on Renald Garrido.
Watch Kal Yafai vs Suguru Muranaka, Sam Eggington vs Ceferino Rodriguez, and Josh Kelly on this Saturday's Birmingham bill, from 7.30pm on Sky Sports 2.
