Carl Frampton will face Mexico's Andres Gutierrez in his Belfast homecoming fight at the SSE Arena on July 29.
'The Jackal' returns to his home city after four fights on the road, the most recent one a narrow points defeat to Leo Santa Cruz in their world title rematch.
On that occasion, two-weight world champion Frampton lost his WBA 'Super' featherweight world title and after a much sought-after rubber match with Santa Cruz failed to materialise, Gutierrez has been named as the next opponent.
Like the Belfast man, 23-year-old Gutierrez (35-1-1-KO25), nicknamed 'the Jaguar', comes into the fight with just a single defeat on his professional record.
That defeat came against former super-flyweight world champion and fellow Mexican Cristian Mijares last summer, Gutierrez losing a majority decision.
