Conor McGregor was confronted by Paulie Malignaggi as he arrived in Las Vegas on Tuesday night after the pair's sparring drama.
Former two-weight world champion Malignaggi, who retired from the ring earlier this year, quit McGregor's training camp after photos appeared on social media suggesting that he had been knocked down during sparring.
As McGregor arrived in Las Vegas for his showdown with Floyd Mayweather this weekend, to be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office, Malignaggi interrupted the scrum surrounding 'The Notorious' to once again insist the rumours around their infamous sparring sessions are not true.
"All I was trying to do was grab his manager, take him aside from the scrum and just talk to him man-to-man," Malignaggi said after being separated from McGregor on the streets of Las Vegas.
"The way they edited it you have to bear in mind they had different cameras.
"It's got to be one camera, don't switch angles, it's got to be one camera so you know this round is not being mixed with that round.
"He goes at these little folding patterns, he's going to fold on Saturday."
