Promoter Eddie Hearn is confident that Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora will have a return fight, but doubts whether it will happen next.
Whyte and Chisora traded blows over twelve rounds of thrilling heavyweight action last December and it was Whyte who eventually took the verdict via a narrow split decision.
There is a feeling of unfinished business following the gruelling scrap and Hearn admits that it's a "huge" rematch he definitely wants to make.
"It's a fight I definitely want to make and both guys realise it is huge," Hearn told Sky Sports.
"Whether it happens next or not... Probably not. But whether it happens in the future... it's more than likely.
"Again, the aim for Dillian Whyte is to fight for a world title, whether that's Deontay Wilder, Joseph Parker or Anthony Joshua, that is the aim. He wants to be a world champion.
"But the Dereck Chisora fight, you can't ignore it. It's huge.
"The first fight was one of the best heavyweight fights anyone has ever seen; we want to see it again and we have to give the public what they want.
"So if we can't do that next, we do it the one after, but at some point we need to make Whyte-Chisora II."
