The Nicaraguan is refusing to overlook Sor Rungvisai, but hopes victory will set up a huge unification clash with Japanese WBO world champion and feared puncher Inoue, who makes his long-awaited stateside debut.

"The rematch with Sor Rungvisai is the most important task in my life right now," Gonzalez told RingTV.com.

"I know this will be a hard fight but I am training like never before and with my new coaches, I believe I will win this fight, God willing.

"Our first fight was a very difficult one, but I feel I won. So it gives me a lot of motivation to keep doing what I do in training camp. This loss showed me a lot and I have faith that God will give me my title back, but before that happens I have to keep training as the challenger I am.

"I rested in Nicaragua and let all the wounds from my battle with Sor Rungvisai heal in order to get back in the gym and have no problems ahead of the upcoming rematch."

The spectacular triple-header, to take place in Carson, California, will also feature a cracking Mexican showdown between Carlos Cuadras and Juan Francisco Estrada, as well as unbeaten star Inoue taking on Antonio Nieves.

The 30-year-old continued: "I feel blessed to be part of the best of the best of my division in this card.

"It is an honour to share the ring with some of the greatest. I feel each of them are excellent fighters that I respect and admire.

"I would definitely like to fight all the three of them, but Inoue, since I have not fought before is definitely who I am inclined more to fight, but for now I have to win September 9, therefore I am training and always praying."
