Crolla vs Burns: Conor Benn targets another crushing knockout win on Manchester bill

Conor Benn will continue his exciting professional career by targeting a ninth victory on next month's Anthony Crolla-Ricky Burns bill in Manchester.
The undefeated welterweight produced a second-round stoppage of Kane Baker two weeks ago and returns on the undercard for Crolla's must-win clash with Burns at Manchester Arena on October 7, live on Sky Sports.
Benn continues a busy schedule with his third fight in four months and 'The Destroyer' hopes to build on his impressive demolition of Baker at York Hall.
"When British fans back you, they really get behind you," said Benn. "This is the time to be in boxing.
"Fighting at York Hall was brilliant. I was really nervous, because I know the history of the place, but the love I got from the crowd was brilliant and it's a special place.
"He had some dirty tactics and tried to rough me up, but that's good for me at this early stage in my career, it's all part of the learning curve.
"He had a full camp for the fight and I stopped him, so I think that's a good statement. I took my time in the first round and got rid of him in the second."
The 20-year-old replaces light-heavyweight Joshua Buatsi, who suffered a minor hand injury while halting Baptiste Castegnaro on the same Bethnal Green bill as Benn earlier this month.
Sam Eggington also features on the undercard, defending his European welterweight title for the first time against mandatory challenger Mohamed Mimoune, and Robbie Barrett defends his British lightweight belt against Lewis Ritson.
Former Team GB Olympian Josh Kelly will be seeking another dazzling display after a whirlwind first-round victory over Tom Whitfield in June.
