Josh Wale would welcome a fight against the winner of Paul Butler's bantamweight battle with Stuart Hall in Liverpool.
The Barnsley man defended his British title with a dramatic knockout of Don Broadhurst last weekend and will be watching with interest as Butler faces Hall in an eliminator for the WBA title this Saturday in Liverpool, live on Sky Sports.
Wale has fought Hall before, suffering a points defeat in 2012, but says he is enjoying his own 'Rocky story' after capturing the Lonsdale belt and wants a rematch with the Darlington man or a fight with Butler.
"Everyone loves a Rocky story. The best thing I've won is not money, or belts, it's respect," Wale told Sky Sports. "I'm just a normal kid, a window cleaner from Barnsley, and all this has come in the last year really.
"I keep pinching myself because my life has changed so much. It was so hard to keep going when you're getting these knock backs. But before you know it, all this happened."

Asked about facing Hall or Butler, he added: "Yeah definitely. Why not? I don't know what no is.

Trainer Stefy Bull has also worked with WBA bantamweight champion Jamie McDonnell in the past and expects him to move up in weight after a rematch with Liborio Solis, possibly leaving the door open for Wale to pursue a title shot.
"If Jamie beats Solis, he'll be moving up to super-bantamweight, then it starts getting interesting," said Bull.
"Josh has got everything. He's got the story, he's got the fan base, and who doesn't like watching him fight?
"Him and Butler would be a great fight. Butler is a former British super-flyweight champion and he's the reigning British bantamweight champion. What a fight that would be for a world title eliminator or a world title."
