Katie Taylor is "head and shoulders above the rest" and the Irish sensation will immediately look to unify the division, says Johnny Nelson.
I have to say that I've been really impressed with Taylor so far in her career, she's done everything right, but could that actually give her an even bigger problem.
I say that because in my eyes she is almost too good for her own good, she is head and shoulders above anyone she's been in the ring with.
Even when she becomes a world champion, which I think she will, she's that good and skillful that it just looks so very easy - she's a great fighter.
It's having the challenges out there and having that dance partner, if she can get that then she can be involved in some amazing fights and big fight nights. She loves the game more than the fame and I like that old school attitude.
I do expect Taylor to immediately try and unify belts after this next fight. It's having that drive and hunger, she will always want more. Previously, she had to turn professional to step up a level and get that hunger back again. Now, the next step will be to unify.
I'm quite sure that after this she will go home and fight in Ireland and have a big night in Dublin. That's not her only option though as there is also a huge Irish contingency in the United States as well so she could do it either way. New York, Boston or Ireland, any of those would be brilliant.
Headlining shows in Ireland will not be a problem, but worldwide it will take time and she needs that signature fight, a dance partner, like I said. Someone who is as good and exciting as her. If you get that you get the challenges and the fans will say that they need to see this particular fight.
