Team GB boxer, Muhammad Ali, has been suspended after testing positive for a banned substance.
Ali, 21, who won silver at the 2016 European Championships, has tested positive for a steroid.
Ali failed the test following a World Series of Boxing tie between the British Lionhearts and the Morocco Atlas Lions in Casablanca in April, and has been provisionally suspended since May.
A statement from GB Boxing said: "GB Boxing can confirm that a member of its squad has tested positive for a banned substance.
"The boxer is suspended from the GB Boxing squad pending the outcome of the process.
"The boxer has also been suspended from all international and domestic competitions, in accordance with the provisions of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the International Boxing Association (AIBA), until this process is finalised."
A statement from AIBA said it would not comment until an anti-doping panel has heard Ali's case. No date has been set for that yet.
It is the first time a GB boxer has tested positive for a banned substance.
It is understood that Ali asked for his B sample, which is used to confirm an initial finding, and that also came back with traces of the steroid.
Ali fought at the 2016 Rio Olympics in the flyweight competition, and is ranked as the top fighter in his World Series of Boxing division.
