Lawrence Okolie secured a third-round KO win against Adam Williams after catching him with a left hook. Williams tried to recover but the towel quickly came in

Lawrence Okolie racked up his sixth successive win in the paid ranks with a third round demolition of Adam Williams at the Principality Stadium.

The 2016 Rio Olympian was taken the distance for the first time in his career in his previous outing, but Okolie got back to his destructive best, recording his fifth stoppage victory.

The 24-year-old, who extends his unbeaten run, finished the contest with a punishing short left hook that floored his opponent before the referee mercifully waved off the contest.

Okolie came out firing and immediately went on the front foot in the opener, walking down Williams and loading up on some heavy hooks.

The one-sided onslaught continued into the next as 'The Sauce' found a home for his heavy hands, clearly intent on getting his man out of there early.

Williams was proving brave and defiant, but Okolie continued to force the 36-year-old on to the back foot as he fired spearing straight hands through the Manchester fighter's high guard.

The finish came soon after though after the Londoner let Williams walk in, before catching him with a well timed short left hand.
