Luke Campbell wants to take on compatriot Anthony Crolla if he can't get a rematch with Jorge Linares.
The Olympic gold medalist admits that 'Million Dollar' is now top of his hitlist after he beat three-weight world champion Ricky Burns in Manchester three weeks ago.
Campbell lost his WBA lightweight challenge to Linares in September, with the Venezuelan immediately turning his attentions to WBC champion Mikey Garcia.
Garcia has recently been linked with a unification fight with IBF holder Robert Easter Jr and although that might open the door to challenging Linares again, Campbell would gladly meet Crolla in an all-British battle at 135lbs in the spring of 2018.
"I'd rather have a rematch with Linares or I want Anthony Crolla," he told Sky Sports.
"I'm ticking over right now, looking to get back in around March and they are the two biggest fights out there for me.
"It would be nice to get Linares back over here in the future but Crolla would be great.
"He's right up there at the moment. He just beat Ricky Burns, he's in the world-level mix, he's got a big following in the UK, I've got a big following in the UK, so why not put a great show on for the fans?
"It's a good fight for both of us and a big fight for the UK fans.
"I think it'd be a great fight and our styles will merge. He comes forward, he's fit, strong and puts the pressure on, I am a boxer and a mover, so that would be great."

Crolla's unanimous decision win over Burns saw him go back to winning ways after his own consecutive defeats at the hands of Linares.
The former WBA champion admits he would be happy to take on Campbell and move back into world-title contention.
"He's showed he's world class," he said in September.
"It's another 'Battle of Britain' and it's a fight that makes business sense. It's something that I'd be happy to go with."
