Orlando Salido plans retirement after losing to Miguel Roman

Orlando Salido says he is planning to retire from boxing after he was stopped in the ninth by Miguel Roman on Saturday night.
The pair served up a thrilling super featherweight battle at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, both looking to attack at every opportunity.
And it was Roman who eventually got the better of his fellow Mexican, twice knocking the four-time former world champion to the canvas before eventually forcing the referee to call a halt to proceedings.
The pair are known for their aggressive styles and they were soon trading blows, with Salido landing a solid right towards the end of the first.
However, Roman responded and floored Salido with a right of his own in the fourth, although the 37-year-old veteran appeared to recover well and had the better of the middle rounds.
But he could not keep up the pace against his relentless opponent and went down again in the eighth round as Gonzalez unleashed a brutal barrage.
And the end came in the ninth, referee Robert Byrd stepping in as Salido slipped to the canvas after being trapped on the ropes.
Salido said afterwards: "That's it, I'm done. This is my last fight.
"All the years fighting have taken their toll on me. I've beaten some great fighters, but I could not beat time. It finally took its toll on me."
Roman, 32, said: "I want to fight any champion.
"I felt like everyone was against me. If I would've lost, I would have retired.
"This is my moment."
