Tyson Fury is welcome to join Joseph Parker in his ring walk against Anthony Joshua, according to promoter David Higgins

Joseph Parker is considering inviting Tyson Fury to join his entourage when he walks out to face Anthony Joshua at the Principality Stadium.

WBO heavyweight champion Parker will fight WBA and IBF belt holder Joshua in a unification clash in Cardiff on March 31, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Parker says he is ready to inflict a "lot of damage" on his opponent and insists he has the full support of Fury, who he became friends with after defeating Tyson's cousin Hughie in Manchester last September.

"I might give him a text and say: 'Bro do you want to walk in with me?'," Parker told the Daily Mail.

"He may just walk in with me or he may just sit in the front and watch the fight. But I know I have a lot of support from Tyson which is pretty awesome."

Fury has not fought since defeating Wladimir Klitschko for the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles in November, 2015.

However, Parker says he would relish the chance to face Fury, who is waiting to learn if his boxing licence will be renewed by the British Boxing Board of Control.

"I still consider him a champion because he didn't lose his belts to anyone and I think when he does come back, if I still have the belt or have a chance to fight him, I would love to fight him," said Parker.
