Amir Khan says he will make Phil Lo Greco pay for his press conference jibes and beat him with "such quality he will stop sulking".
The former world champion was talking after the incident that saw Khan chuck a cup of water over the Canadian after he had referred to a well-known tweet last year.
Khan had to be held back by promoter Eddie Hearn but although he had calmed down, he promised to make Lo Greco pay when they meet in Liverpool, on April 21, live on Sky Sports.
"Sometimes it's a press conference and it's about boxing not about your personal life and I do think Lo Greco took it a little bit too far by saying one or two things I wasn't happy about," Khan told Sky Sports News.
"He's gone too far and even on the roof, when we did the interviews and posed for pictures together, he just kept bugging me and trying to get in my head.
"But now it's time to focus on the fight. It's only going to motivate me to work even harder and make sure I beat this guy - and not just beat him but do it in such quality he will stop sulking.
"I will let my fists do all the talking."
Lo Greco's response was to refer to the Khan fight as his own "warm-up" fight.
Khan, who like his opponent will be making his debut in Liverpool, was joined at the press conference by I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here contestants, Rebekah Vardy, Jamie Lomas and Dennis Wise.
Watch Amir Khan vs Phil Lo Greco, live from the Echo Arena, Liverpool, on April 21, live on Sky Sports.
