FELIX CASH v JAMES HAGENIMANA

Felix Cash extended his unbeaten record in emphatic fashion as he stopped James Hagenimana in the fifth round at The O2.

The 24-year-old middleweight gave a classy showing as he notched up his eighth win in the paid ranks, eventually halting his Belgian counterpart, who had been previously dropped in the fourth, with a stinging body shot.

Cash was quick to cease control of the contest behind a stiff left jab, effortlessly switching his attack from the head to body in a dominant opener.

Hagenimana came out with more ambition in the next, finding some success of his own, but the 31-year-old was unable to avoid the punishing blows coming back at him.

The heavy-handed Brit started to look for an early finish, loading up on his ramming hooks, before a chopping right hand sent the Belgian down in the fourth.

'The Black Dragon' returned to his feet and managed to survive the remaining seconds of the stanza, but it was to little avail as the referee stopped the fight in the fifth after Hagenimana felt the full force of a crunching blow to the midriff area.

Speaking afterwards, Cash said: "That was a good win. He was tough but I broke him down and got him out. I did get a bit overeager.
