Josh Taylor made light work of late call-up Winston Campos, stopping him in the third round on Saturday night.

The 'Tartan Tornado' had the experienced visitor down twice in the second round before referee Victor Laughlin stepped in to save him, with the expectant SSN Hydro, in Glasgow, delighted with the decision.

Taylor moved to 12-0 with 11 of them coming inside the distance and showed his versatility in dealing with the replacement for three-weight world champion Humberto Soto, who picked up an injury in sparring in the build-up.

Kell Brook took just two rounds to show the power he now carries in the super-welterweight division.

With impressive wins over Ohara Davies and Miguel Vazquez, Taylor took control from the start and Campos touched the canvas just before the end of the first round but even if the referee ruled it as a slip, it set the tone.

Taylor then made certain in the second, a right setting up two perfect lefts that put Campos down and although he made it up at eight, a lovely right uppercut had the same impact.
