Joshua vs Parker: Ryan Burnett and Josh Kelly say they thrive off each other, promise fireworks in Cardiff

Ryan Burnett and Josh Kelly say that their close bond is bringing the best out of each other as they promise to deliver fireworks in Cardiff this Saturday night.
Kelly will take a step up in class to take on Carlos Molina, while Burnett defends his WBA 'Super' bantamweight world title against mandatory challenger Yonfrez Parejo as part of the Joshua-Parker undercard live on Sky Sports Box Office.
"We enjoyed it in there," Burnett said, speaking at Wednesday's public workout. "We've done it quite a few times so enjoyed that, that's what it is like in the gym.
"When we need to get serious, we knuckle down. We bounce off each other and there's a great energy in the gym.
"I've been doing things the same and doors have opened up. I've taken the opportunities and here I am as a world champ and I plan to stay. Everyone wants a crack at me, but at world level, this is what you expect.
"I'm at the point of my career where I expect nothing but the best from myself."
Kelly, who takes on former world champion Molina in just his fifth pro fight, added that he is ready to again showcase his skills and further enhance his growing reputation.
"We learn from each other and enjoy the work we do. We work together and thrive off each other.
I've got my character and it rubs off on Ryan. We bounce off each other. I've lightened him up and he's made me more serious so we're good together.
"It's another step for me, another fight, [Molina] has the experience, this is the right direction for me to take and I'm in a great place and can't wait to perform and show levels again.
"I'm easy, whatever Eddie [Hearn] and Adam [Booth] say, I'll roll with it, I'm looking forward to it and am quietly confident.
"Ryan works extremely hard in the gym and it rubs off on me. I've got my character and it rubs off on him. We bounce off each other. I've lightened him up and he's made me more serious so we're good together.
"We will go through the gears and see what Molina has left, I hope he brings the best out of me."
