Joshua admitted that he needed to shed weight for the New Zealander after coming in at his career-heaviest for a stoppage win over Carlos Takam in October.

"You will see I will be a lot sharper," said Joshua. "My reflexes will be sharper and my speed will be much sharper."

Parker was much lighter than when he tipped the scales at 17st 7lbs for a points win over Hughie Fury in September.

"Us being close in weight makes me think he is taking it seriously," said Parker. "We are similar, we will both be fast tomorrow and throwing bombs."
