Lewis Ritson and Josh Kelly can bring title glory to the North East when the exciting duo return to action in Newcastle.
Hometown hero Ritson can win the British lightweight title outright with a successful defence against Paul Hyland Jnr, while Sunderland's Josh Kelly challenges Kris George for the Commonwealth welterweight belt on the same bill this Saturday, live on Sky Sports.
Two make-or-break fights are on a packed bill as Gavin McDonnell takes on Stuey Hall for the WBC international super-bantamweight belt and Charlie Edwards clashes with super-flyweight rival Anthony Nelson.
A ruthless finisher, Ritson will be seeking to extend a red-hot run of stoppage wins, and the 24-year-old Kelly can enhance his status as one of the hottest talents in British boxing.
The unbeaten Ritson is one of the rising fighters in the domestic division and is eager to test himself at a higher level if he defeats the dangerous Hyland Jnr.
But the Belfast man will hold lofty ambitions of his own as he is also yet to suffer a defeat in the paid ranks.
Kelly has already taken a number of sizeable steps in his fast-moving career, outpointing former world champion Carlos Molina in March, and 'Pretty Boy' can secure his first major title in only his seventh bout.
McDonnell dominated the previously unbeaten Gamal Yafai in their domestic clash in March and can edge closer to another world title shot if he defeats Hall, a former world champion who is fighting for his future after a loss to Paul Butler in September.
Edwards has moved up in weight since being stopped by IBF champion John Riel Casimero in 2016 and victory over Nelson will continue his rise up the rankings.
Three-weight world champion Ricky Burns and former British light-heavyweight title holder Hosea Burton are also due to appear on the undercard.
The Metro Radio Arena has hosted a number of the biggest names in British boxing over the years, including Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe and Prince Naseem Hamed.
Anthony Joshua stopped Jason Gavern in the third round when his fourth professional fight was staged at the venue.
Premier League darts, ice hockey and basketball have also been held at the arena.
