Andre Ward could be added to the undercard of the huge showdown between Miguel Cotto and Saul Alvarez in November.
The super-middleweight supremo returned to the ring in June after 19 months out and stopped Paul Smith in nine rounds at catchweight.

Ward (28-0-KO15) has now boxed three times in three years and having cleared up his promotional issues, has said he wants to fight regularly.
The unbeaten American is under Jay Z's Roc Nation promotional banner along with Cotto, who will top the bill in a huge showdown with Canelo in Las Vegas on November 21, and he could well be added to the undercard.

Ward could be looking to move up to light-heavyweight following his catchweight win over Smith and has apparently held talks with Serget Kovalev although he has also been linked with staying at super-middleweight if Gennady Golovkin can move up from middleweight.
