Carl Frampton vs Scott Quigg: Quigg adamant he'll have home dressing room

Scott Quigg has told Carl Frampton to forget about denying him his usual dressing room on Saturday night.
The row over the priority changing facilities for the world super-bantamweight unification bout flared up before Thursday's final press conference and is set to continue, but Quigg insists he will not be moved on the issue.
Fighting in the familiar surroundings of the Manchester Arena, Lancastrian Quigg feels he's done enough compromising to lure Frampton in the ring and laughed off the Northern Irishman's claims his superstition is weakness.
Quigg told Sky Sports: "That's my dressing room and that's what'll be happening. I'm the home fighter. He's coming to my arena so he's the away fighter. I choose which dressing room.
"He wanted to be a certain side of the poster, ringwalk second. All the demands. Bigger split. I'm the home fighter in the home corner and I'll choose what dressing room. I'll be using that dressing room.
"They're trying to control things. I'm not superstitious. I'm not being weak. I'm being strong. I'm not going to give in. That would give them a win over the situation. That's not happening.
"They've come threatening to not turn up to the presser if the dressing room's not sorted. They're trying to think of a way to unsettle us but I just find it funny. They're getting themselves annoyed because they're trying to get an edge and they'll lose it again."
On the comfort of the dressing room in question, Quigg (31-0-2-KO23) added: "You want to see it. You'll have to see it to believe it. It's got slides and swings. It's got it all."
Animosity between the camps threatened to boil over during the stare-down, as Frampton (21-0-KO14) appeared to grab Quigg by his collar after the pair had pushed each other.
Quigg said of the incident: "You do your stare-down then I'm not going to look away. He started talking because he was uncomfortable. Then he tapped me on the shoulder. I said don't do it and he did it again so I shoved him away. It just got a bit argy-bargy.
"It's all irrelevant tho. All that matters is what goes on in that ring and I guarantee you I'll knock him out."
Looking ahead to tomorrow's weigh-in, the 27-year-old added: "I'm expecting a great atmosphere. When you've got 4,000 people turning up to a weigh-in, it gives us a taste of what it's going to be like on the night. Each minute that goes by, I'm getting more excited."
