Eric Molina says he is in the shape to cause a shock when he takes on Anthony Joshua this Saturday in Manchester.

The unbeaten Joshua is making the second defence of his IBF title at Manchester Arena, live on Sky Sports Box Office, and he is a hot favourite to get the better of the 34-year-old Molina.

But the American caused WBC champ Deontay Wilder some problems before he was knocked out in June last year and says that, with all the pressure on Joshua to deliver this weekend, fans could be in for a surprise.

Molina is training at the Moss Side Fire Station Boxing Club and he told Sky Sports News HQ on Monday night: "So far, so good.

"This is our second day here. Nice and settled in, getting in to a little routine, getting into a rhythm, so I can't complain so far.

"It gets darker faster over here and my sleep is all messed up but we are here, we are training, we are resting and we are staying focused, that is the main thing.

There is no pressure on me, the pressure is on him. People expect him to be flawless against me, they expect a perfect performance on his part. But this is a very dangerous fight for him

Anthony Joshua insists he is focusing on his next opponent, Eric Molina rather than a potential fight against Wladimir Klitschko

Joshua has been hugely impressive throughout his career and has never been taken beyond the seventh round.

However, Molina says the dynamics of the fight are all in his favour.

"There is no pressure on me, the pressure is on him," he said. "People expect him to be flawless against me, they expect a perfect performance on his part. But this is a very dangerous fight for him.
