Ram Slam 2015: Cape Cobras beat VKB Knights by four wickets

Hendricks' blistering 98 not enough for rock-bottom Knights

Reeza Hendricks' unbeaten 98 proved in vain as the VKB Knights suffered a four-wicket loss to Cape Cobras in Wednesday's Ram Slam encounter.

Hendricks, who has played five T20 internationals for South Africa, smashed 13 fours and a six as the Knights posted 174-5.

But Andrew Puttick (37) and skipper Justin Ontong (31) kept the Cobras in the game before a flurry of late sixes - four of them from Rory Kleinveldt (36 from 14 balls) - saw the visitors home in 19 overs.

The victory moves the Cobras - for whom spinner George Linde took 4-21 - level on eight points with the second-placed Titans but the Knights are now winless from their three games so far.
