Kevin Pietersen couldn't score a third straight T20 ton for the Sunfoil Dolphins but did hit a 44-ball 68 to help fire them to a fourth-straight Ram Slam win over the Chevrolet Warriors.
Pietersen smashed six fours and four sixes in his knock as the Dolphins posted 179-4 from their 20 overs before the Warriors collapsed to 145 all out in reply.
Arriving at the crease with the Dolphins struggling at 15-1 inside the third over, Pietersen put on 92 for the second wicket with captain Morne van Wyk (53).
Pietersen was dropped - a tough caught-and-bowled chance - and took a painful blow on the elbow off a fielder's throw at the stumps but looked to be on course for another hundred before being caught at long-off when attempting to hit another maximum.
David Miller (46 off 25 balls) added some more useful lower-order runs though as the home side set the Warriors a 180-run target that proved to be some way out of their reach.
Openers JJ Smuts (30 off 19) and Colin Ackermann (26 off 22) got them off to a good start, but eight wickets fell for 54 runs after Smuts was dismissed in the sixth over.
Off-spinner Prenelan Subrayen was chief destroyer, taking 4-29 from his four overs, as the Dolphins dismissed the Warriors with two balls to spare.
Elsewehere, The Unlimated Titans beat defending champions, Nashua Cape Cobras, by 26 runs in the other Ram Slam action of the day in Centurion.
Farhaan Behardien hit 61 off 31 balls as the Titans posted 173-5 from their 20 overs, with the Cobras falling well short on 147-6 in reply.
