Cobras left sweating after eight-wicket loss in Durban

Sunfoil Dolphins beat Cape Cobras by eight wickets to record their first victory in six games and secure a place in the Ram Slam semi-final.
Dolphins had slumped after winning their first four matches of the competition but success in Durban guaranteed Morne van Wyk's men, who now sit second, at least third spot in the standings.
The 2013/14 Ram Slam champions will face either the Cobras or the Chevrolet Warriors on Wednesday for the right to play runaway leaders The Unlimited Titans in the final on December 12.
Cobras are in third place at present, having been leapfrogged by Dolphins, but will be dumped out of the play-off berths if Warriors defeat bizhub Highveld Lions in their final group-stage encounter on Sunday.
Van Wyk (60no from 52 balls) starred as the Dolphins chased down Cobras' 142-7 with eight balls to spare on Friday, though he was aided by Cameron Delport (39 from 36) and Jonathan Vandiar (34no from 12).
Warriors remain in the play-off hunt after Somila Seyibokwe (73 from 57) inspired them to a last-ball, six-wicket victory over bottom club VKB Knights.
Andre Russell clobbered five maximums while hitting 52 from 24 balls in Knights' 170-5 but those fireworks, and his three wickets proved, in vain as Christiaan Jonker stroked the final delivery for two in Bloemfontein.
Elsewere, Quinton de Kock (88 from 47 balls) drilled seven sixes and six fours as Titans extended their winning streak to eight matches with a 68-run triumph over fifth-placed Lions on the Duckworth-Lewis method.
De Kock, unfazed by a rain break that led to the match being reduced to 15 overs a side, smashed Titans to 158-2, with Lions only mustering 93-8 in reply due to a brisk innings from Dominic Hendricks (43 from 37) as Albie Morkel (3-13) prospered with the ball in Benoni.
