A number of England squad members will be in action in the opening round of County Championship matches, which start on Sunday.
The domestic four-day season gets underway with three games each in Division One and Two, and a number of England's World Twenty20 final squad have been made available along with their Test and one-day counterparts.
Test captain Alastair Cook, who is also playing for Essex against Middlesex in a warm-up game this week, will lead the way by playing in his county's clash with Gloucestershire.
Cook will be available for Essex's first four games of the season, with England not playing their first Test of the summer until May 19 against Sri Lanka.
Durham will not have Ben Stokes available for their match against Somerset, but Mark Wood is expected to play after having ankle surgery in November - he played only one County Championship game in 2015.
Stokes, whose final over proved costly in England's World Twenty20 final defeat against the West Indies on Sunday, will be available for their subsequent games against Middlesex and Surrey.
Champions Yorkshire will be without Joe Root until May 1, when he will be available to return against a Nottinghamshire side boosted by Stuart Broad's availability.
Yorkshire will be able to include Adil Rashid, Jonny Bairstow, David Willey, Gary Ballance and Liam Plunkett when they open their campaign against Hampshire, but that game does not start until Sunday week, April 17.
Broad will not play in Nottinghamshire's opening game against Surrey on Sunday, but will be available against Lancashire when he will most likely come up against James Anderson, who is free to play in his county's first three games.
James Taylor and Samit Patel are available to start the season at Trent Bridge against Surrey but Alex Hales will sit out until the Yorkshire match on May 1, like Root.
James Vince and Liam Dawson, part of England's T20 party, can play in Hampshire's season opener at the Ageas Bowl against a Warwickshire team captained by Ian Bell and also including Chris Woakes.
No decision has been made about Reece Topley's availability for the opening weekend but he will be able to play against Yorkshire next weekend.
Jason Roy has been made available for Surrey duty from the start of the season along with Mark Footitt, who made a move to the Kia Oval from Derbyshire during the off-season.
Steven Finn and Nick Compton are available to start the season with Middlesex, who face Warwickshire at Lord's from April 17, and Moeen Ali has been cleared to make three Division Two appearances for Worcestershire after missing their opening fixture against Kent.
Chris Jordan will delay his return for Sussex until May 1 to have treatment on his right elbow.
