Pakistan's Yasir Shah tops ICC Test rankings ahead of James Anderson

Pakistan's match-winning leg-spinner Yasir Shah has taken over top spot in the ICC Test bowling rankings at the expense of England's James Anderson.
Yasir, the first Pakistani to top the table since Mushtaq Ahmed 20 years ago, was voted man of the match following his 10-wicket haul in their 75-run victory in the opening Investec Test at Lord's on Sunday.

The feat saw him rise from fourth spot in the rankings, knocking Anderson off the summit while also moving above England's Stuart Broad. India's Ravichandran Ashwin lies in second place.
England's all-time leading wicket-taker Anderson reached top spot for the first time after his brilliant series against Sri Lanka earlier this summer, but was left out of the squad to face Pakistan as he continued his recovery from a shoulder injury.
The Lancashire paceman looks set to be back in the squad for the second Test on his home ground at Old Trafford which begins on Friday, live on Sky Sports.
In his absence, Chris Woakes' breakthrough performance for a match haul of 11-102 has seen him move up 28 places to 36th in the rankings.
