Highlights of the second T20 between India and England in Nagpur

KL Rahul top scored with 71 from 47 balls as India battled their way to a five-run victory in the second T20I in Nagpur.

Virat Kohli (21 off 15) looked in good touch at the start of the innings - smashing Tymal Mills for a spectacular straight six - before falling in the fifth over.

His opening partner, Rahul, picked up the mantle, going through to a 32-ball fifty, but England continued to restrict India, taking five wickets for 36 runs in the final five overs.

India made an error in batting MS Dhoni at No 6, who faced only seven deliveries, scoring five runs, while Manish Pandey (30 off 26), who came in ahead of him, had a lucky escape when on only 10 with Ben Stokes bowling him, only for the bails not to be dislodged as the ball clipped the off-stump.

Chris Jordan rounded off the innings superbly for England, finishing with 3-22, but his excellent death bowling was to be matched by the Indian seamers during Eoin Morgan's side's chase.

After Sam Billings (12) and Jason Roy (10) fell early, Joe Root and Morgan looked to rebuild as they had in the first match.

Morgan (17) went in the 11th over but Ben Stokes (38) came in and looked to have taken England to the brink of victory by the time he was trapped lbw by Ashish Nehra.

However, that did not account for the excellence of Nehra (3-28) and Jasprit Bumrah in the closing overs. Bumrah (2-20) going for just three in the 18th over before Jos Buttler's six from final ball of the 19th, left England needing just eight from six balls.

Bumrah had Root (38) lbw from the first ball - despite replays showing a clear inside edge - and then with seven still needed, he bowled Jos Buttler with his fourth ball before seeing the over out without conceding another run off the bat.
