England started well, restricting India to just eight from the first two overs and Chris Jordan ran out Virat Kohli (2) but India hit back with force, reaching 53-1 at the end of the powerplay with Raina hitting three big sixes.

Not to be outdone, KL Rahul hit Moeen Ali for a straight six that sailed out of the stadium in the seventh over. He was unable to get much further though as he was bowled by Ben Stokes soon after.

Raina (63 off 45 balls) and Dhoni (56 from 36 balls) continued to pile on the runs though, both going through to fifty, while Yuvraj Singh let loose and smashed three sixes and a four from a Jordan over later in the innings.

Chasing 203 to win, England again made a bright start, a Jason Roy (32 off 23) reverse-sweep for six off Yuzvendra Chahal a particular highlight.

But the legspinner would have the last laugh, Chahal taking 6-25 as England, well placed at 119-2 in the 14th over, suddenly crumbled, losing eight wickets for eight runs.
