Nasser Hussain was unequivocal in his backing for Twenty20 internationals on the latest Sky Cricket Podcast - which you can download here - a day after England coach Trevor Bayliss called for them to be axed.
Speaking to Ian Ward in Hamilton after England's two-run victory over New Zealand, Bayliss said: "I wouldn't play T20 international cricket.

"If you want to play a World Cup every four years or so maybe get the international teams to play six months before, but I'd just let the franchises play."
Hussain, though, says the format results in "the best against the best" and is the part of cricket most attractive to supporters.
"Forget what you want - don't be the old fogey and say 'it's not supposed to be like this'," he said. "Remember what your punter wants and they want more Twenty20.
"You have to keep pushing that form as that's where the interest is - but keep an eye on Test cricket. I've always said that's your main course. Your pudding, your treat at the end of it is Twenty20."
