Throughout the series he got England off to a blistering start, more often than not with the game at Trent Bridge a perfect example. He and Jonny Bairstow set the platform for that world record 481.
Jonny Bairstow - 8

Exactly the same as Roy. They're a formidable pair, nothing from them in the last game but they can't do it every time. They're a pleasure to watch and they push the opposition back.
Alex Hales - 8

He's a terrific player, he could be in the top two but he's having to bat at three for now. It's no secret that the top three are vying for two places. He averaged 58, he's a thinking cricketer who can change gear throughout an innings.
Joe Root - 6

Probably with the bat he just ticked over but he bowled 10 overs for 44 in the fourth one-day international and it looks as though he is emerging as a sixth bowler. England are certainly trying to use him as someone who can get through a few overs.
Eoin Morgan - 8

He captained the team brilliantly as ever, averaged 38 and struck when he needed to, including England's fastest ODI fifty at Trent Bridge. He is the leader.
Jos Buttler - 10

Absolutely outstanding. Outstanding and outrageous. He did fabulous work behind the stumps, absolutely brilliant with his energy, athleticism and glove work. Irresistible with the bat, 10 out of 10.

He continues to be effective in England. He put the skids on Australia on a number of occasions, they didn't really get on top of him at any stage and he kept taking wickets.

He just played the one game at the end of the series. I'm convinced he'll become a batsman who bowls a bit, he'll have enjoyed his outing at Old Trafford as part of a winning team and his face on the balcony with England nine down at the end was an absolute picture!

He's Mr Dependable for the team. He bowls a decent pace, he's a big, strapping lad and he has that knack of taking wickets.
Adil Rashid - 8

I think he is absolutely critical to England going forward in white-ball cricket. He's comfortable in white-ball cricket. Another good series for the leg-spinner.

A bit-part player and he'll have been glad of the outing at Old Trafford. He was there at the end with Jos Buttler, with responsibility. Take note, he was bowling at 88mph, up to 90mph at times.

He had a good innings in a tricky situation at The Oval and his wickets at the top of the innings are invaluable for England, with the different angles that he can create. He's taken seven wickets at 25 so he is getting people out.

He is reputedly England's fastest bowler but it is only at times that he can get that sort of pace. He will need to develop slower deliveries and other variations.
Craig Overton - N/A

Overton did OK on his ODI debut at Durham but missed the final game due to a side strain.
Sam Billings - N/A

He came in for the match at Cardiff when Morgan had back spasms but he remains a squad player for now.
