Gloucestershire has signed fast bowler Chris Liddle on a two-year contract.
Liddle was released by Sussex at the end of last season after nine years at Hove where he was a key member of their limited overs team.
The 6ft 4in 31-year-old was recommended to Gloucestershire by former captain Jon Lewis, a member of the coaching staff at Sussex.
Gloucestershire head coach Richard Dawson said: "It's great to have Chris on board.
"He's got a lot of experience in one-day and T20 cricket, having performed strongly for Sussex and he will add excellent competition to our bowling unit.
"It's a great opportunity for him to come here and compete in all formats of the game as he has a lot of potential in Championship cricket. We are all looking forward to him joining up with the lads."
