South African batsman Richard Levi has signed a new one-year contract with Northants.
Levi has been particularly successful in white-ball cricket for the Steelbacks - he was one of the key men in their run to the NatWest T20 Blast final last season.
He scored 663 runs in 11 Division Two matches in the County Championship matches, averaging 44.20 - including a superb 168 against Essex.
Head coach David Ripley told the club's official website: "It's great that Richard will be joining our squad once again. He brings a level of excitement to the one-day game and is a consistent run-scorer.
"Last season we saw a glimpse of that same talent in red-ball cricket so we have high hopes for this coming year."
Levi said: "I'm really excited to be part of next year's squad. It's going to be a really exciting season and I'm looking forward to continuing my relationship and success with the Steelbacks."
