ECB director Andrew Strauss has confirmed Eoin Morgan is yet to decide if he will make himself available for England's three one-day internationals against Bangladesh this autumn.

Morgan, who is England's ODI captain, has told Strauss of his concerns about travelling to a country where terror attack at the start of July resulted in the loss of 29 lives.

The ECB has agreed for the tour to go ahead but accepts that some players may not wish to participate because of worries over security issues.

With regards to Morgan, Strauss told Sky Sports News HQ: "He's voiced his concerns and we must give him time.

"He is captain of the side but still has his own issues and concerns and we must respect that.

"The most obvious consequence of not going to Bangladesh is that you are opting to give your place to someone else for a period of time and no one knows how that will end up.

"If someone comes in and does brilliantly well, then the dynamic changes. But it's no different if you're injured.

And speaking to Sky Sports 1 HD later on Wednesday, following England's T20 game at Old Trafford, Morgan added: "I think as captain, you want to be there in the mix with everybody but ultimately you have to feel comfortable enough to be able to concentrate on cricket and be able to benefit the team.

"Ultimately it comes down to how comfortable I feel to go."
