England Women have called seamers Kate Cross and Tash Farrant and wicketkeeper Amy Jones into their squad ahead of the Ashes Test against Australia.

Cross has linked up with the side already and could figure in their three-day warm-up game against a Cricket Australia XI in Sydney from Friday.

Farrant and Jones - who, like Cross, have been playing club cricket in Australia - will arrive at the weekend, with all three now in contention for the Test at North Sydney Oval from November 9.

Cross has featured in three Tests, 14 ODIs and four T20s for England, with Farrant and Jones making 10 and 35 appearances respectively across the limited-overs formats.

England clawed their way back into the multi-format Ashes series on Sunday with a 20-run, DLS win in the third ODI at Coffs Harbour, cutting their deficit to 4-2 on points.
