Chris Froome overtakes Simon Yates at Giro d'Italia

Chris Froome now leads the Giro d’Italia after overtaking Simon Yates on Friday.
Froome finished stage 19 in 5:12:26 after a brilliant attack with 80km remaining.
He was previously fourth before the 184km route from Venaria Reale to Bardonecchia.
Four-time Tour de France winner Froome could become the first Brit to win the Giro and only the seventh rider to win all three Grand Tours.
The Giro concludes on Sunday.
Richard Carapaz came second on Friday, and Thibaut Pinot was third.
