KASK and Team Sky have agreed to extend their winning relationship through to the 2016 race season.

Three-year deal agreed for 2014, 2015 and 2016

We are delighted to confirm that Team Sky has extended its relationship with KASK Helmets through to the end of the 2016 season. KASK has been keeping Team Sky safe, comfortable, and fast since its inception in 2010 and will continue to do so for a further three years. Head of Technical Operations Carsten Jeppesen said: “We have an excellent relationship with KASK and we are delighted that this will continue. "KASK has been with Team Sky from the start and we have enjoyed working with them over the years to develop and manufacture world class helmets. The safety of our riders is paramount, and with KASK we have the confidence that our riders can perform both at their best and safely. "KASK’s knowledge and expertise is what sets them apart from the competition and together we have created world firsts in the pro peloton with the development of the first ever ventless helmet (Mojito) and now the revolutionary Infinity, which marries aerodynamics with advanced cooling. "We have also taken existing products and improved them, like the Bambino time trial helmet which was made lighter and adaptable to changing conditions with the addition of the magnetic visor. "As impressive as these innovative models are, the ongoing relationship, and our shared passion for continuous improvement, means that product development is a continual cycle and will keep looking to push the boundaries of performance in helmet design." KASK is also pleased to extend the arrangement, and their CEO Angelo Gotti added: "It's a great honour for us to continue our collaboration with Team Sky. “I like to use the word ‘collaboration’ because for four years that’s what we have done with the whole team, from the technical staff to the riders: we work together to ensure innovation and professionalism with a team that always maintains its own distinct identity. “Ensuring safety and protection to every single rider is a big responsibility, and we are very proud that from day one Team Sky has assigned this important task to us – and will continue to do so in the coming years,” continues Gotti. In celebration of their success over the last four seasons, KASK has collated the following stats to showcase the many victories that Team Sky has achieved whilst wearing their helmets: These wins have been accrued across many kilometres and days of racing: *Source: cqranking.com *Cumulative distances of all riders across the season, and only of races they finished and cat .1 and above.
