Ed Clancy, Katie Archibald and Owain Doull will make their first competitive appearance on the track following the Olympic Games at the opening round of Revolution on September 17 at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester.

The Great Britain cyclists are the first riders to be confirmed for the opening round of the expanded Revolution Series, which will feature a UK Championship and new Champions League competition.

The trio will also feature across the rest of the Revolution race season, with Clancy already confirmed to race on October 8 in Glasgow and in the finale of the UK Championship on October 22 in Manchester.

He will be hoping to lead the JLT Condor team to victory in the UK Championship in order to qualify for the Champions League.

Clancy said: "After missing the whole season last year with a back injury I'm really looking forward to getting back to racing at Revolution.

"It will be good to race in front of the home crowds for the JLT Condor team, as I'm sure the atmosphere will be incredible after the Olympics."
